Jake shares…”Create a business that matters”

“In my opinion nobody needs to know I’m an expert at anything. But I did almost die falling off a cliff in Indonesia climbing boulders in the pouring rain. When I was falling through the air suspended in space and time wondering if these would be my final breaths the question in my head was, did I do anything that mattered?

At the end of our lives when we’re reflecting we want to feel this inner sense of fulfillment that our life mattered. There is actually proof from a palliative nurse named Bonnie Ware who wrote a book, ‘Top Regrets Of The Dying’ and she interviewed thousands of people just before death bed and the number one thing was they wish they would have lived a life more true to themselves.

I believe that the cornerstone to create success that actually feels good and isn’t empty and doesn’t keep us running on the treadmill for more is to create a business or a career that matters. That matters and positively influences other people’s lives. When we can do that and make money doing that at the same time we know that serves a purpose in our life serves a purpose which I believe is the highest calling that we’re here to achieve and fulfill as human beings.”

Jake would like ask you…

“What way do you hinder your success the most? When we get honest with ourselves about the ways we sabotage and hold back our success then we reclaim our greatest power. Which is our own personal responsibility to create the life and impact that we desire to make in the world.”
