“Politics In 2036?”

Today’s “Millennial To Watch” is Josh Lafazan.

Who Is Josh?
Josh Lafazan became one of the youngest elected officials in the history of New York when he was elected to the Syosset School Board of Education at 18 years old, receiving 82% of the vote in May of 2012. Joshua was re-elected in 2015. He is a TEDx speaker, Cornell University senior, and the author of “Political Gladiators: How Millennials Can Navigate the 21st Century Political Minefield and WIN!”

Why Should You Care?

Josh is among a handful of very young political figures I’ll be keeping an eye on from now until 2036 (the next 20 years) to see if and how they will impact our current political landscape.

What You Can Learn From Josh?
1) Check out his book for advice on navigating the political landscape as a Millennial if your interests lie in politics.
2) Email him with questions about education and school board management if you are questioning the current education system and/or sending your kids to college this fall. He may have some unique insights given his public service role.
